Music video starring Carly Rae Jepsen. Premiered on the Disney Channel, then released on Disney’s digital platforms and The Little Mermaid Diamond Edition Blu-ray/DVD.
To celebrate the Diamond Edition release of The Little Mermaid, Disney asked Carly Rae Jepsen to create a song inspired by the film. Turns out Carly is a huge Little Mermaid nut and wanted to record her own version of Part of Your World.
Blue Giant was asked to come up with a music video concept inspired by the film – picking up shortly after Ariel arrives in the human world. Since she’s lost her voice in the story by then, we came up with the visual device of only showing Carly singing in her reflections in the world around her.
