Once Upon A Parade ‣ Blue Giant

Once Upon A Parade
Branded short film starring Modern Family star Sarah Hyland.
PROMOTE A PARADE
Walt Disney World was looking for a unique way to create awareness and excitement for its newest parade, Festival of Fantasy. Meanwhile, Walt Disney Studios was looking to promote the Diamond Edition release of Sleeping Beauty. Add in ABC’s Modern Family, and cross-promotional-synergy nirvana ensued.
MARKET A BLU-RAY
The challenge for Blue Giant was how to utilize Sarah Hyland’s comedic talents while making a live experience, a parade, look visually cool. What we came up with was a witty story within a story (à la 'The Princess Bride') about how the Festival of Fantasy came to be.
PUBLICIZE A TV SHOW
Interesting factoid: Once Upon A Parade was shot entirely on location at Walt Disney World during open park hours. Naturally, a star of Sarah Hyland’s calibur created quite a stir. Imagine a few hundred clamoring fans behind the camera in every shot!
